Experimental Features

These features are available on the experiments branch and not yet released to master or crates.io. APIs and behaviour may change without notice. When a feature graduates to stable, its page moves into the main manual and this entry is removed.

No features are currently in flight as of 2026-06-16 (v0.15.0 released). The 0.15.0 cohort — two-stack retrieval (daemon-free lite default + opt-in server), the peer tool, librarian(action="legibility_scan"), and Windows/EDR support — shipped straight to stable; see the SUMMARY.md table of contents.

The most recent cohort — ripgrep-style text output, the goal-tracker archetype, codescout artifact* CLI subcommands, librarian(action="audit_doc_refs"), and the edit_markdown frontmatter/at additions — graduated to stable between 2026-05-18 and 2026-05-24. Each has a permanent home in the main manual; follow the SUMMARY.md table of contents for the canonical entries.
